HOW IT STARTED

Trinity Baptist Church of Deliverance was officially launched in 1982. Founded by Pastor Lula B. Gardner, alongside her husband Virgil Gardner, the first location and services were in the home of the Gardner family.

EXPANDING THE VISION

Not long after, Pastor Gardner leased a storefront building on Clarke Avenue in the town of Pocomoke, Maryland, and this would be the new location for the ministry for some years to come. What has been known as Trinity Baptist Church of Deliverance for years started out as First National Deliverance Center.

WHERE WE ARE HEADED

In this dispensation of grace, God is emphasizing to our ministry to serve Him and others through His greater love - agape love, which is unconditional. Our purpose is to let others know about Him and to be the example - the salt and the light for the world, and to remain faithful to God.

Rather than pursuing distractions, our focus is to remain in alignment with the purpose for which we have been called and that is to love and serve God and others and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ for discipleship and for the upbuilding of God's kingdom.

HIGHER CALLING

Trinity has been called to operate in a higher sense of purpose. We are blessed to serve in our communities and wherever God calls us. Our church community is founded on the foundational pillar of God's Love and operating in A.C.T.I.O.N - Agape Commitment Thoughtfully Impacting Our Neighbors.
